Another "opportunity" to preserve your precious memories is to take the 8mm film you had transferred to VHS and have the VHS converted to a durable DVD. Jerry Worley provided me with some classic footage, some nearly 90 years old, which we transferred to DVD. We took nearly 4 hours of VHS and placed it onto a twin DVD set which Jerry now has in a single DVD case, complete with clearly marked cover and spine for easy identification.
